I'm gonna try to make this my Tuesday ritual. We'll be joining another meetup group devoted to racing and this is one of their more popular meetups. We meet just in front of the San Diego County Administration building as a starting point and work our way along the Embarcadero. It's a beautiful course but challenging enough as a workout. Our host's name is Ed and he does a great job hosting this.

The nice perk is afterwards we walk to and gather at the awesome Waterfront Bar and Grill for the drinks and taco specials they're known for. I chow these down guilt-free after a good workout

You can just join us for the Waterfront Bar and not do the run. We all usually manage to be there around 7:30 p.m. after the run.

Hi,

My name is ed and I will be your host for the Tuesday night Waterfront Run. This run is for joggers/walkers, speedsters, and everyone in between :)

It's called the Waterfront Run for two reasons. One is that this scenic route runs along the beautiful San Diego Harbor, through Seaport Village and the Embarcadero. But secondly, and more importantly, it's the name of the real highlight of this run: the Waterfront Bar and Grill. It's located two blocks away from the start/finish of the run. We'll be going there after the run for $1.50 fish tacos, $1 Budweiser Power Hour, and Good Times with Good People. You could even be the new "closing champion"!

There will be three variations of this run loosely corresponding to different levels of fitness. A core workout is to follow when everyone returns. Please take a look at the maps if you are new to the run. If it makes you more comfortable, print one out and bring it with you :)

DIRECTIONS, PARKING, AND OTHER INFORMATION:
Meet at the steps of the San Diego County Administration Center. Click here for map http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/5/1/5/d/[masked].jpeg. There is tons of street parking and since it's after hours, it's free. Permits are not enforced within the Admin Center parking lot after hours, so you can park there, too. Or you can choose to park by the Waterfront Bar and Grill to make it easier for yourself when you leave. The Waterfront is located at 2044 Kettner Blvd and is within walking distance of the start/finish.
