Jay Leno is back hosting The Tonight Show! Last September, I organized a meetup with my 10+ meetup groups I cross-post on to be part of the studio audience for the first Jay Leno Show. It was a blast! Check out the ratings and photos http://www.meetup.com...

I had the chance to get up from the audience and introduce him to the groups. He took one of our member's Time Magazine issue with him on the cover and signed it, said 'Open Bar To All The Meetup People' as he left to get dressed and then shook hands with us to start the show. What an entertainer!

Well here's another chance to catch Jay Leno live ... as the new host, AGAIN, for the Tonight Show.

Request your first preferred show date to be March 1, 2010.
I'll leave it up to you to choose the other alternate dates. Please ask for the maximum amount of tickets which is 4. I will eventually be collecting from you the tickets you will not be needing to give to meetup members who were not able to get tickets. It's important we all book this as early as we can! You can imagine how high a demand there will be for the first taping with Jay back at the helm.

My plan is to leave for L.A. some time in the morning and arrive there just before noon.
Pack your lunch and snacks since we'll have to get in line right away to get inside the studio. The studio's box office informed me that the cutoff time for being in line is 2:45 p.m. and my guess is that people will start lining up early. By the way, seats are not reserved so having tickets does not guarantee entrance nor seating. Last Sept. it ended up being a very long line for his first show but us meetup peeps managed to get in since we lined up early.
By the way, if we arrive early enough and the line is not long we could probably manage to catch the NBC Studio tour in the morning. Tours depart at regular intervals from 9 AM to 3 PM and admission is only $ 7.50.

And, we can do a late dinner after the show at a restaurant near the studio before we head back to San Diego.

When you book online, you're given the opportunity to send a special request / message to Jay Leno!

"Hi Jay! I am an event organizer for the social groups on meetup.com based in San Diego. I brought members of my groups to your first Jay Leno Show last September. Hope you recall it was I who got up in the audience and introduced you to the meetups :)
